Throw out those tired old wedding guest books…here are some fresh ideas
You heard me! Throw them out.
We have already picked our guest book alternative (shhh it’s a secret) but here are some other ideas I stumbled across in my journey to find the perfect guest book.
Patch Work Quilt Guest Book
Guests sign patches of fabric that are sewn into a quilt after the big day.

The Typed Letter
Fun and interactive, guests type out a line or two to wish you well. Just don’t get stuck behind any slow two-fingered typers.

Guest Book Bench
Could be a memorable and unique piece of furniture for your foyer or hallway

Address book
Collect all your guests addresses and birthdays in one easy location - even add additional information like food allergies, favourite colours and hobbies

Birthday Calendar Guest Book
Never forget Aunt Mae’s birthday again with this guest book idea

Family Tree Poster
Every new couple needs some art work for their walls

Wishing Tree or Japanese-styled fortunes
Write a wish down for the happy couple and attach or tie it to make it come true.
Similar to some Japanese Traditions - In Japan people write down wishes and hang them on bamboo during Tanabata (July 7th)

At shrines in Japan visitors write their wishes on special wooden plates (Ema) and then leave them in the hope that their wishes come true.

DIY Guest Books
Turn a memory journal or scrap book into something truly special
